What Is Cage Free Dog Boarding? A Simple Guide for Broward Pet Parents

Cage free dog boarding means your dog does not spend the day in a kennel. Dogs stay in a home, play in groups, and rest where they feel calm. Here is how it works at Four Paws Inn in Miramar.

Cage free vs a kennel

At a kennel, dogs often stay in a run and come out for set play times. At a cage free home, dogs move around the house and yard with people close by. It feels more like home.

How we group dogs

We look at size, energy and play style. Calm dogs stay with calm dogs. Players stay with players. New dogs explore the house first, then the yard, then meet the group when they are ready.

Is cage free right for my dog?

Many dogs love it. Some dogs need more time or more space. Tell us about your dog: age, energy, and how they do around other dogs. We will tell you how we would plan their stay. If your dog needs a quieter room, ask us about a private suite.

What to pack

Pack your dog's food, one meal per Ziploc bag. Bring their leash and any medicine they take. We have beds, bowls and toys.

What it costs

$60 a day for dogs under 50 lb, $75 a day over 50 lb, and $80 a day for puppies and seniors. A 25% deposit holds your dates.

Ready to book?
